Job Description
Are you a progressive and detail-oriented Qualified Accountant looking to step into a key leadership role? Our client, a leading player in the manufacturing industry, is seeking an ambitious Assistant Financial Controller to join their dynamic finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal part in driving financial excellence and ensuring compliance within a complex, fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with the Financial Controller, providing critical support across financial reporting, compliance, and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of accurate financial statements in line with US GAAP.
- Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and maintain robust internal controls.
- Support external and internal audits, liaising with auditors as required.
- Partner with operational teams to provide financial insight and drive performance improvements.
- Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements within the finance function.
About You
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge and experience of US GAAP and SOX compliance.
- Previous experience in manufacturing or a similar industry is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in audit (Big 4 or mid-tier background welcomed).
- Progressive mindset with the drive to develop and advance in a growing organisation.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence across all levels of the business.
