Job Description
Financial Analyst
Haddenham, UK (Hybrid)
12 month fixed-term contract
The Financial Analyst will drive improved decision making and delivery of business results by providing proactive forward-looking strategic, commercial and financial insights to the Consumer team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reporting and Analysis β Prepare regular financial reports with key figures and analyses of performance. Provide commentary and insight into business performance to drive understanding of month end results, financial forecasts and budgets.
- Provide business partnership and financial support on short-term business projects and long-term strategic objectives. Interpret and analyse customer specific requests from the sales field and partner to develop financial P&Ls and analytics.
- Provide ad-hoc analyses and project support for initiatives across Commercial and wider Finance Team.
- Support Marketing team on new product development.
- Financial data maintenance β support new product code creation, maintain product mapping, create system inputs of key financials during forecast and budget cycles.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelorβs degree in business, Finance, Economics or Accounting
- Strong process orientation and ability to bridge financial analysis to sales processes, providing actionable insights with meaningful recommendations.
- Ability to work independently and use sound judgment.
- Effective planning and organizational skills, very strong demonstrated analytical and problem- solving skills and strong Excel and Power Point abilities.
