CNC Machinist
Wolverhampton
£40,500 + Excellent benefits
This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of aerospace innovation, contributing directly to New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. You’ll be part of a team that brings cutting-edge designs to life, machining complex components for some of the most advanced aircraft systems in the world.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Setting up and operating a range of CNC machines (mill/turn, multi-axis).
- Supporting NPI programs, working closely with engineering and quality teams to develop and refine new components.
- Performing first-off inspections and completing all required quality documentation.
- Working to extremely tight tolerances in a high-spec aerospace environment.
What You’ll Bring:
- A recognised engineering apprenticeship.
- 5+ years of CNC machining experience (Okuma, Mazak, DMG, Matsura, Puma, etc.).
- A strong background in engineering or manufacturing — aerospace experience preferred.
- Deep understanding of machining techniques, tooling, and inspection methods.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on precision, quality, and continuous improvement.
