Graphic Designer / Project Manager – Global Retail Company

The Opportunity

A talented and enthusiastic Graphic Designer is needed for this global retail company, to help them bring their brand to life across various channels. This role will be the first in-house design role within this innovative company, so they are looking for a self-starter who is keen to work directly with marketeers – delivering great designs and helping establish new processes. Your day will involve a mix of design tasks, team collaboration, and project management and this combination of creative freedom, technological advancement, and scale of impact makes this role an exceptional launchpad for your design career.

The Role

  • Design graphics, layouts, and illustrations across websites, in-store POS, social media, email campaigns, and other digital platforms.
  • Develop and maintain design templates and style guides to ensure consistency.
  • Optimise designs for various platforms and devices, ensuring optimal visual impact.
  • Manage the end-to-end production process of design projects.
  • Ensure timely delivery of all visual assets while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Align deliverables with project goals and brand guidelines.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing creative ideas to campaigns.
  • Provide regular updates on project status and proactively address any potential issues.

The Person

  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design, preferably within marketing or advertising.
  • Retail or ecommerce experience.
  • Portfolio demonstrating strong graphic and visual design skills and creativity.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (Figma and Adobe Creative Suite is preferred).
  • Familiarity with design for digital platforms (social media, email, web etc.)
  • Strong eye for detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across various channels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with video editing and motion graphics (a plus)

The Details

  • Location: London, United Kingdom
  • Estimated start date: ASAP
  • Estimated end date: 12 months
  • Pay Rate: circa £160 per day / £800 per week via PAYE
  • Working hours: 40 hours weekly
  • Working conditions: Hybrid, minimum 3 days a week in office
