RMS Recruitment are excited to be partnering with a client in the offshore wind and engineering sector. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Manager to join their team based in Skelton, Cleveland, North Yorkshire .

  • Location: Skelton
  • Salary: GBP35,000 per annum
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am 5pm.

About the Role:

We are seeking a driven and ambitious warehouse Manager who will be responsible for ensuring the management and running of an efficient and functional busy warehouse. This includes safe receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse items and project equipment in a professional and timely manner. You will need to complete efficient planning and coordination of all warehouse team members and also work closely with the Procurement department to facilitate the complete life cycle of project demands from beginning to end,

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implementing new procedures to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce logistics costs
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track warehouse performance.
  • Train and supervise warehouse staff, including scheduling shifts and assigning tasks.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of stock valuation and correct costs issued to projects through Sage
  • Accountability of asset management system, ensuring all assets are tagged, logged and tracked to include setting up dedicated work area
  • Implementing min/max stock levels for company wide consumables/PPE
  • Ensuring project folders are complete before job goes out the door asset logs, kit registers, all certification
  • Ensuring equipment is maintained on a scheduled basis inspections, services, function tests
  • Daily planning and completion of warehouse workforce tasks
  • Assist in the planning of future capacity requirements for asset storage, before, during and after projects.
  • Maintaining safe working practices and ensure your team adhere to the Health and Safety policies.
  • Where possible, resolve any issues or problems which occur in your area of responsibility (AOR) and where appropriate, escalate the issue to the Procurement and Logistics Manager.

About You:

  • Must have previous Warehouse/Stores experience
  • Must have strong knowledge of logistics, supply chain management and warehouse operations.
  • Must be a excellent communicator with previous leadership experience.
  • Must hold a full UK Driving Licence.
