Opportunities have arisen for Band 5 Staff Nurses on our Child and Adolescent General Adolescent Unit at The St Aubyn Centre in Colchester. These vacancies have arisen due to the Trust increasing our staffing establishment.
Longview is a 15-bedded GAU caring for young people aged 13 to 18 experiencing severe mental health problems. We work with young people who cannot be safely cared for in the community, including those experiencing Psychosis, Depression, Suicidal Ideation, and Self-Harm.
The unit is well-resourced, and you will be working as part of an extensive MDT comprising Family Therapists, Psychologists, Art and Drama Therapists, Psychotherapists, Ward Doctors, and Consultant Psychiatrists.
There are numerous training opportunities to further your career, and we are happy to support newly qualified staff through their preceptorship. Qualified Mental Health Nurses are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working and supporting young people aged 13 to 18 as part of the MDT team.

Role Responsibilities:
