Bouygues UK is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor for a Ā£30 million refurbishment project, part of the International Sports Village (ISV) in Cardiff. This is a residential project for a housing association.
Job Purpose and Scope:
You will be responsible for maximizing the commercial results and cash position of projects, delivering optimum profit performance against internal budgets. Manage the procurement of subcontractors and their financial and contractual management. Prepare and agree on interim valuations with the client and progress the agreement of variations as the work proceeds, utilizing company tools. Collaborate with the Project Manager and other project team members.
- Previous experience must include work with a main contractor.
- Experience in producing financial reports, including forecasts, net margins, and activity reports.
- Demonstrates strong attention to detail and produces accurate work.
- Ability to facilitate the training and development of graduates and assistant QSās.
- Solid understanding and management of company reporting timetables, key tools, and procedures.
