What it\’s about
We are looking for a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Payroll Specialist to join our team in Manila on a 12-month contract. This role will support the end-to-end payroll processing for the Philippines and may assist with payroll processes in other regions as needed. Prior knowledge or exposure to APAC and EMEA payroll regulations is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process monthly Philippine payroll, ensuring timely disbursement and full compliance with local tax and statutory requirements (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, BIR).
- Prepare government reports, remittances, and statutory filings on time.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and support audit and compliance activities.
- Coordinate with internal HR, finance, and third-party vendors for payroll inputs, benefits, and reconciliation.
- Respond to employee payroll-related inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in payroll reporting, payroll accounting, and continuous process improvements.
- Provide support for payroll activities in other regions, preferably APAC and EMEA, as needed.
What we expect
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 3 years of hands-on Philippine payroll experience.
- Preferably with working knowledge or exposure to APAC and/or EMEA payroll practices.
- Strong understanding of local statutory payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel; experience with platforms like SuccessFactors or ADP is a plus.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with integrity.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
