About The Role
Are you a Practitioner with a Level 6 qualification in Minor Illness and Injuries looking for a rewarding role? Do you want to utilise all the skills from your training in a supportive environment? Whether you\’re coming from a General Practice, the ambulance service, or elsewhere, we\’ll give you time to use your skills and help you build a fulfilling career.

We are seeking Nursing/Paramedic Practitioners who are committed to working as part of our Urgent Care Team to deliver an excellent and caring service to our patients.

Our multidisciplinary workforce primarily consists of Advanced Clinicians and Emergency Practitioners trained in both adult and paediatric disciplines, supported by GPs.

As we operate a 7-day service, we are looking for Nurse or Paramedic Practitioners who can work various shifts, including evenings and weekends. Shifts range from 7.5 to 12.5 hours. We understand the need for flexible working, so we are offering a bank contract to accommodate your current commitments.

What you\’ll be doing

The main patient groups are those with minor injuries and illnesses. Patients presenting to the Urgent Treatment Centre are managed by our expert team of Practitioners/Clinicians with undifferentiated diagnoses through assessment, formulation of a clinical management plan, and subsequent discharge or transfer for definitive care.
