At London College of Contemporary Arts (LCCA) , we foster a culture of innovation and creativity. Were seeking an experienced Lecturer in Graphic Design to guide our students through the foundational and undergraduate levels of design education with insight, vision, and real-world relevance.

Position

Your Role

  • Deliver design-focused modules at Levels 35, including visual communication, typography, branding, and digital design.
  • Use real-world briefs and industry-standard tools to enhance student engagement.
  • Guide students in developing strong portfolios and professional practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on cross-disciplinary initiatives and course design.

Mentor students in both academic and career development areas.

Requirements

What You Bring

  • A degree in Graphic Design or related field; postgraduate or equivalent professional practice preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years experience teaching in UK higher education.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and awareness of contemporary design practices.
  • Experience balancing conceptual teaching with technical skill-building.

(Desirable: PGCert, HEA Fellowship, live client project experience)
