Senior MEICA Engineer – Severn Trent Water Specialist (Tier 1 Contractor)

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced MEICA Engineer to strengthen their expert team, focusing specifically on their significant pipeline of Severn Trent Water schemes.

What Our Client is Looking For:
This role demands a MEICA Engineer with extensive, demonstrable experience working directly on Severn Trent Water assets and frameworks. Key requirements include:
Significant and proven MEICA engineering experience within the water/wastewater sector, with a primary focus on Severn Trent Water projects.
Thorough understanding and practical application of Severn Trent Water\’s technical standards, specifications, and operational procedures.
Full project lifecycle experience from design, tendering, installation, through to commissioning and final handover.
Strong technical acumen in electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems specific to water treatment works, wastewater treatment works, and network assets.
Ability to technically lead, review, and assure MEICA designs and installations.
Proficiency in producing and reviewing critical project documentation (e.g., FDS, DDS, HAZOPs, FAT/SAT documentation, O&M manuals).
Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with clients (Severn Trent Water representatives), designers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to health, safety, and environmental excellence.
Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Control Engineering).
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Acting as the primary MEICA technical lead on assigned Severn Trent Water projects.
Ensuring all MEICA aspects of projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards, aligning with Severn Trent Water requirements.
Collaborating closely with civil, process, and commissioning teams to integrate MEICA elements seamlessly.
Managing and overseeing MEICA subcontractors and site activities.
Providing technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
Identifying and mitigating risks associated with MEICA works.
Location: Projects predominantly within the Severn Trent Water operating region (Midlands).
