A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FOOD & BEVERAGE ASSOCIATE AT THE WESTIN LONDON CITY
In this role, you will report to the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager.
What you\’ll be doing…
- You will be the first and last point of contact with guests in the hotel’s food and beverage areas.
- You will serve guests at the table.
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and tidiness in the restaurant and bar areas.
- Set and reset tables in the restaurant before guests arrive and after they leave.
- Liaise with the kitchen team and assist with beverage service.
- Access learning opportunities through Marriott & 4C training portals.

To succeed as a Food & Beverage Associate, you should have:
- Knowledge and service experience with wine.
- General beverage knowledge, including spirits.
- Excellent food service skills.
- Flexibility to work in shifts and cover different roles as needed.
- Previous experience in a similar role within a four- or five-star environment is desirable.
- Fluency in English, both oral and written. Additional languages are a plus.
