The role
Arrow XL is recruiting a Management Accountant to join our finance team in Wigan. Supporting the Head of Management Accounts and assisting in training the Assistant Management Accountants, this role offers valuable experience within a highly qualified finance team focused on development.

Key responsibilities
- Assist in preparing monthly management accounts to strict deadlines
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Produce and post journal entries
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register
- Conduct variance reporting
- Assist with budgets and forecasts
- Prepare quarterly VAT returns
- Perform ad hoc duties as required
What you will need
- At least 3 years\’ experience in a multimillion-pound turnover business and ACA, CIMA, or ACCA qualification, or part-qualified or qualified by experience
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent time management and ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Proficiency in Excel (e.g., SUMIF, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, IndexMatch)
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional conduct and confidentiality
