We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide expert support and guidance to managers and employees on a wide range of HR issues, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practices. This role plays a key part in fostering a positive workplace culture that is aligned with our values, supporting employee relations, and contributing to the development and implementation of HR policies and initiatives.
Your Key Responsibilities
Your Key Responsibilities • Provide expert advice and support on HR policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
• Provide feedback and coach managers to drive performance improvement.
• Guide and coach colleagues and managers to appropriate wellbeing support and resources.
• Manage employee relations issues including investigations, disciplinary, grievance, and performance management cases.
• Support cyclical events including pay review and performance review.
• Support and implement change initiatives in line with best practice and legislation.
• Support recruitment and onboarding processes, working in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team.
• Oversee employee experience throughout the employee cycle, ensuring this is aligned with our values.
• Contribute to HR projects such as employee engagement, wellbeing, and diversity and inclusion.
• Keep up to date and ensure compliance with employment legislation, review and update Policies & Procedures as required.
• Build strong, effective, professional relationships quickly, maintain effective working relationships.
• Collaborate with the broader People team and Centres of Excellence.
Qualifications / Requirements
Qualifications / Requirements The ideal candidate will have proven experience of operating at HR Advisor level with strong business relationships, having experience of managing ER cases, supporting on business change initiatives, consultations and complex cases, with a confident and pragmatic approach.

• Associate CIPD or working towards.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Minimum intermediate skill level in Microsoft Applications.
Desirable:
• Experience with SagePeople
• Experience in Technology/Distribution industry
