Family Centers’ Early Care and Education program seeks passionate, professional educators to join our early childhood education team. We are seeking full-time, part-time, and substitute pre-school teachers to work onsite in our preschools and/or infant & toddler centers. For part time positions, flexible morning and afternoon shifts are available, with after-school opportunities for eligible high school or college students. Clarification of desired teaching position and best fit discussed in interview. On-the-job training is provided!

Overview:

Our programs provide full-day/full-year care and offer the highest quality pre-school education and development opportunities for young children ages six weeks to five years at four sites in Greenwich, CT. Each school is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) which is widely recognized as a distinction of the highest quality in early care and education programs.

Our Accreditation:

Family Centers’ Early Care and Education program is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). Accreditation by NAEYC is widely recognized as a distinction of the highest quality early care and education programs. Only eight percent of the nation’s preschools earn NAEYC’s stamp of approval. Family Centers’ Early Care and Education program is one of two full-day/full-year programs in Greenwich that maintain NAEYC accreditation.

  • Earned or working towards an Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or similar)
  • Candidates with a Child Development Associate certification (CDA)
  • Experience working with young children
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a passion for early education
  • Able to lift and move 25 pounds on a regular basis and is occasionally able to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Bilinguality is a plus
