Role Summary

This client-site-based role is pivotal to the non-clinical function. As a Patient Booking Team Leader you will lead and support the booking team on the ground to consistently deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring patient satisfaction is at the forefront of all bookings. Your roles and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the booking process at Llandough Hospital and report to the Patient Booking Manager.
  • Provide training and support to existing team members.
  • Handle escalated booking inquiries, ensuring timely and professional resolutions for the Patient Booking Manager.
  • Complete daily booking reports and provide feedback to the Patient Booking Manager.
  • Generate regular performance reports for management.
  • Ensure all clinics are scheduled and utilized at least 3-4 weeks in advance.
  • Previous experience in patient appointment booking, ideally, within the NHS.
  • Endoscopy experience preferred, but if not, candidates with medical or healthcare experience will also be considered.
  • EPIC experience is preferable.
