Health and Safety Manager Rochester £50,000 – £55,000 + Excellent Benefits Are you ready to take on a key leadership role in health and safety at a busy, fast-paced manufacturing site? Do you have the knowledge and experience to make a real impact in a high-risk environment by promoting best practice and ensuring compliance? We\’re working with a global, high-risk manufacturing business to recruit a Health and Safety Manager for their site in Rochester. This is a great opportunity to take the lead on all health and safety matters, playing a key role in driving continuous safety improvements. Key responsibilities of the Health and Safety Manager include: Championing a proactive safety culture through positive engagement across the site Delivering training and supporting team development on health and safety matters Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working closely with senior leadership to align health and safety strategy with operational goals Overseeing risk assessments, supporting incident investigations and ensuring health and safety practices evolve in line with the site\’s changing operations and prioritiesThe ideal Health and Safety Manager will have: Proven experience in a hands-on health and safety role, ideally within manufacturing, engineering, or a similar industrial setting NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build trust across all levelsThis is an excellent opportunity to work for a world leading brand within their field in a professional working environment.
