About the RoleWe are seeking a highly capable Contracts Manager to join the Legal & Commercial Services team in a consultancy capacity. This role will support a project on behalf of a leading utility provider responsible for maintaining the UK's electricity and gas infrastructure.You will play a pivotal role in supporting legal and commercial activities relating to Connection Offers for infrastructure projects, working collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of connection agreements.Key Responsibilities? Assist the client in drafting and issuing Connection Offers using standardised contract templates, offer letters, and approved SOPs.? Support the review, refinement, and customer engagement process regarding issued Connection Offers.? Monitor and report on the status and lifecycle of Connection Offers and related contracts.? Ensure accurate documentation and contract records are maintained.? Contribute to continuous improvement in contract management processes and reporting.Required Skills & Qualifications? Bachelor's or postgraduate degree, or equivalent experience.? Strong background in contract management across a variety of contract types and lifecycle stages.? Demonstrated experience drafting and negotiating agreements in sectors such as Utilities, Capital Projects, Connections, Construction, or Infrastructure.? Proven ability to respond to complex queries around contractual obligations, revisions, and redlines.? Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work effectively within diverse and cross-functional teams.? Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.? Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).? High attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.? Experience in contract performance reporting (e.g., contract volumes, supplier coverage, KPIs).? Industry knowledge of the UK utilities sector is advantageous.Desirable Attributes? Consultancy or in-house experience within a regulated environment.? Familiarity with utility connection processes and frameworks.? Capable of working independently and managing priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
