Technical Services Manager

About the Role
Our client seeking a Technical Services Manager to join their Technical Services team. Reporting directly to the Director of Technical Services, the successful candidate will deliver high-quality, cost-effective support and guidance on technical compliance to Members and stakeholders.
This pivotal role involves managing inspection services, resolving compliance-related complaints, delivering technical presentations, and contributing to industry standards and policy through committee work and legislation review.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical advice and assistance to Members, prospective Members, and external stakeholders.
- Support the development, delivery, and updating of technical training content and materials.
- Act as a technical presenter both in-person and online via virtual platforms.
- Conduct assessments and inspections to ensure compliance with technical standards.
- Manage dispute resolution procedures and prepare comprehensive technical reports.
- Represent the Technical Services function internally and externally, contributing to strategic decisions and promoting best practice.
- Act as Deputy to the Director of Technical Services when required, including for UKAS accreditation compliance and health & safety matters.
- Liaise with national industry organisations, regulatory bodies, and legislative groups to ensure Members’ interests are effectively represented.
