Futures are working with an expanding technology focused business, with a brand new product range to bring to market, which are looking to appoint a Technical Sales Manager. The appointed Technical Sales Manager will identify new business opportunities with existing and prospective customers and convert them into sales. It is important that you have a good understanding of traditional engineering and can talk confidently with clients around the technical detail of precision engineering, machining, fabrication and welding. You need to have knowledge of a technical product and experience of managing a technical sales cycle, often interacting with technical staff rather than procurement professionals, and that you can hunt out new business opportunities from a standing start. The product range you have is market leading and fairly priced though. It\’s a simple sale once in front of the right person. The hard part is getting in front of them to start with.
