About the role

Job Title: Early YearsTeaching Assistant
Location: Dartford
Pay: £88 – £110 per day (via PAYE)

Are you passionate about supporting young learners and helping them develop in their early years?

Vision for Education is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a primary school near Dartford. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for working with young children, to support their learning and development in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons to children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Support small groups and individual children with their learning, helping to foster a love of learning.
  • Help with classroom management and create a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Assist with the planning and preparation of learning resources and activities.
  • Provide pastoral support, ensuring children feel supported, happy, and confident in their learning.
  • Monitor children\’s progress and provide feedback to the teacher.
  • Work with the wider school team, including other teaching assistants and staff members, to ensure the smooth running of the school day.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience working with young children, ideally within an Early Years setting.
  • A relevant qualification such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification, or equivalent (desirable).
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and a commitment to their development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • A positive, proactive attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one.
