Join Our Team as a Class 2 HGV Driver – Early Start
Bullet Express is seeking a dedicated and experienced Class 2 HGV Driver to join our dynamic team. If you’re passionate about driving and delivering excellent service, we want to hear from you! This position runs Tuesday to Saturday with a 3:30 am start each day, delivering totes on wheels and collecting returns to 4–6 retail stores daily in the Edinburgh area.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing up-to-date delivery information/pictures via WhatsApp Group and scanner
- Delivering and collecting any returns required via tail lift (tote boxes on wheels)
- Accurately completing and submitting all work‑related paperwork at the end of each shift
- Performing thorough vehicle checks before and after each shift
- Reporting any non‑conformity or near misses to your line manager promptly
- Ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of goods during transit and delivery
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Personal Qualities
- Proven experience driving Heavy Goods Vehicles
- Experience in power pallet truck operation
- Experience with electronic delivery equipment
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Pride in maintaining and respecting the provided equipment
- Strong ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently
Licence/Certification
- Digital Tacho Card (Required)
- Appropriate Driving License (Required)
- Driver CPC (Required)
