How will you make an impact?
Peter Millar & G/FORE International are seeking a strategic and commercially minded Performance Marketing Manager to lead acquisition and retention marketing within our E-commerce team. The role requires strong analytical skills combined with creative and commercial instincts, working closely with internal teams and external partners to drive revenue, customer growth, and marketing efficiency.
The responsibilities include leading the performance marketing strategy from designing digital campaigns to managing budgets, supporting team development, and reporting to senior stakeholders.
Strategy & Planning
- Own and evolve the global digital marketing strategy across all acquisition and retention channels (Paid Media, SEO, CRM, Affiliates), aligning with business goals.
- Plan and execute campaigns for key marketing moments, product launches, and brand initiatives, including prospecting and remarketing activities.
- Coordinate with the brand team to connect upper-funnel activity with performance channels, including influencer and content collaborations.
- Explore new marketing channels and evaluate existing ones for scalability and performance.
- Manage and optimise the UK & international marketing budgets, tracking spend and reallocating based on performance.
Performance Marketing
- Adopt a test-and-learn approach to identify new opportunities and scale successful tests.
- Plan and improve account structures to maximise performance.
- Own reporting across all performance channels, providing insights weekly and monthly.
- Lead agency relationships, especially in Paid Media, ensuring continuous optimisation for ROI.
- Collaborate with creative teams to develop assets for paid campaigns.
Email, SMS & CRM
- Oversee retention strategies including email and SMS marketing, driving customer lifetime value.
- Support CRM operations, including email builds and campaign analysis in Klaviyo.
- Grow subscriber bases and automate flows like welcome journeys and birthday campaigns.
- Ensure cross-channel campaign consistency.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor and support the Digital Marketing Executive.
- Collaborate with Ecom, Brand, Merchandising, and external agencies to execute campaigns.
- Partner with the US marketing team for global strategy alignment.
- Work with the Creative team to develop campaign assets.
Operations & Reporting
- Support cross-departmental projects with the Ecommerce team.
- Manage marketing invoices and POs, tracking budgets.
How will you experience success?
- Solid background in Performance Marketing with hands-on experience in e-commerce campaigns.
- Agency and international experience are a plus.
- Experience in budget management and forecasting.
- Knowledge of Google Ads, Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Klaviyo.
- Strong analytical skills and Excel proficiency.
- Excellent project management and communication skills.
