My client is a leading specialist cleaning provider across East Anglia, delivering both reactive and contracted services to clients in a variety of sectors. Known for our high standards, professionalism, and safety-first approach, we offer expert services including working at height and biohazard cleaning.
We are seeking a proactive Operations Manager to lead our operational performance and ensure smooth, efficient, and compliant service delivery. You will oversee field teams, manage subcontractors, ensure safety standards, and play a key role in driving business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing reactive and planned work schedules
- Overseeing health & safety compliance, risk assessments, and SSoW
- Leading and supporting field teams, including hands-on site involvement when needed
- Client relationship management and regular performance reviews
- Quoting, budgeting, and cost control
- National subcontractor coordination and equipment inspections
- Supporting staff training and certification requirements
- Driving business development and KPI achievement
Requirements:
You\’ll have proven experience in operations or site management (cleaning/FM/industrial), strong leadership skills, and a hands-on approach. A full UK driving licence is essential.
Desirable: IOSH, IPAF, CSCS, trauma cleaning experience, or ILM Level 5.
