We require a qualified Social Worker to join the LD Review Team for an initial 3-month period to backfill a position. The team is engaged in various projects, including least restrictive practice, My Life My Way, internal disability supported accommodation services (DSAS), ensuring citizens are supported through appropriate funding streams, embedding a Strengths Based Approach, and reviewing high-cost care packages across the city. The work emphasizes value and savings. The team operates citywide and may include citizens from Greater Manchester.
We need an experienced Social Worker capable of completing reviews, Strengths Based Assessments, Support Plans, MCA and BI decisions. Experience in learning disability services is preferable.
This role is mainly office-based with some flexibility for remote work (up to 2 days per week, if agreed).

- A professional qualification in social work
- Social Work England registration
- Enhanced DBS/Update service
- References covering the last 5 years of employment
