About The Role
Mechanical Engineer – Static Site Role
Near Oxford
Up to ÂŁ42,000

Atlas Workplace Services has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our team at a key client site near Oxford. This is a static role, ideal for someone who thrives in a hands‑on environment and takes pride in delivering high‑quality maintenance and compliance services.
What You’ll Be Doing
As part of a dedicated on‑site engineering team, you’ll be responsible for:
- Delivering Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance tasks across a wide range of mechanical systems
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with contract Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and compliance standards
- Supporting the delivery of compliance PPM, including L8 water hygiene tasks where applicable
- Providing accurate time and material estimates for minor works and assisting with quoting
- Collaborating with Account Support, Supervisors, and Sub‑Contractors to ensure high‑quality service delivery
- Keeping the Planon CAFM system updated via your issued device and ensuring all time is accurately recorded
- Taking ownership of your work and contributing to a culture of 100% customer satisfaction
- Participating in the out‑of‑hours call‑out rota as required
What We’re Looking For
- City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a mechanical discipline
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar mechanical services role
- Experience working in a customer‑facing environment
- Strong understanding of building services and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and L8 compliance
- Comfortable using CAFM systems (Planon preferred) and Android tablets
- Ability to work in heavily permitted environments with a strong focus on health & safety
- GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent)
- Desirable: Legionella (L8) training, IOSH Working Safely or equivalent
