- UK Experience within a public, private or third sector UK based client.
- Good knowledge and application of the DMRB, Eurocodes and other relevant technical standards for the design of various highway structures and bridges.
- Experience of industry standard analysis software.
- Experience in the development and design of bridge and highway structures projects including; inspection & assessment, strengthening, maintenance, replacement, detailed design.
- Good understanding of the CDM regulations and knowledge of the NEC forms of contract.
- Experience in producing and managing scheme deliverables including PCI packs, BoQs, scheme specifications using the MCHW and health and safety files.
- Open to supporting and guiding junior engineers / technicians where required.
- HNC, HND, BEng, BSc, MEng, MSc or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- A full UK driving license is essential.
- Good command of AutoCAD would be advantageous.
- Work towards professional qualification (IEng / CEng) with the ICE / IStructE or similar.
