Job Overview
Slater & Gordon is recruiting an experienced Lawyer to join our award‑winning Clinical Negligence team in Cardiff as an Associate. Our team, highly ranked in Chambers and the Legal 500 and noted for winning individual awards on high‑profile cases, tackles complex claims arising from misdiagnoses or failures to diagnose, as well as spinal injury, brain injury, surgical errors and incorrect treatment. Candidates should bring a strong Clinical Negligence background, the ability to manage their own caseload, and experience running matters through to trial while working alongside Paralegals and Legal Assistants to provide an excellent service to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complex Clinical Negligence cases, including misdiagnoses, spinal and brain injury, surgical errors, and incorrect treatment.
- Manage your own caseload and deliver an excellent client service experience.
- Run matters through to trial, coordinating with Paralegals and legal assistants.
- Maintain high standards of care and client communication throughout case progression.
Qualifications
- Qualified lawyer with experience in Clinical Negligence.
- Strong background in managing complex, high‑value cases and experience running matters to trial.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with support staff.
