Accounts Assistant/Junior Purchasing Admin
Location: Near St Neots
Salary: £24,000 – £27,000 (DOE)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
We\’re currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant/Purchasing Administrator to join a friendly and established finance team based near St Neots. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for someone with Sage 50 experience and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Customer invoice processing in Sage 50
- Liaising with both suppliers and internal departments
- Supporting the Financial Controller with ad hoc admin and reporting
- Purchase order creation and updates
- Processing delivery notes and manual stock entries
- Creating works orders and handling Q.C. report exports
Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in a similar accounts/finance position or strong admin looking to take on a bit of accounting work
- Working knowledge of Sage 50 would be great
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A proactive team player with the ability to multitask
Desirable:
- Prior purchasing experience is advantageous
Other:
- Due to the location, a full UK driving licence and own vehicle are required
