With our ongoing global expansion, CIGNA European Global Segments offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and driven Tender Manager to join our Tender Delivery Office. You’ll need a flexible attitude, experience working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects, and effective time management to meet challenging deadlines.
Reporting to the Commercial Operations Manager, you will be responsible for managing the entire tender process, including pre-qualifications, tendering, and commercial proposals for a variety of clients. Collaborating with key stakeholders such as Sales Managers, Client Managers, Executive Sponsors, and other experts, you will provide tender management, motivation, and leadership to the team at all times.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with Business Development to identify opportunities and build a pipeline of new and repeat business.
- Analyze Client & Tender requirements to ensure scope & objectives are clearly documented, including win themes, strategies, and expected outcomes, with alignment from key stakeholders.
- Create and manage Tender Delivery Plans, ensuring approach clarity, key deliverables, milestones, and timelines are identified and scheduled.
- Lead, manage, and motivate cross-functional project teams to deliver high-quality tender responses.
- Manage stages of the Tender lifecycle, including intake, storyboarding, production, delivery, and post-tender review; track progress and escalate issues as needed.
- Facilitate communication among all stakeholders and third parties to ensure transparency of tender status and plans.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, pre-bid planning, and presentations.
- Secure sign-offs from key stakeholders before submission.
- Ensure timely and quality submissions in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Identify lessons learned and drive improvements in Tender Management practices.
- Implement risk management strategies, including risk identification and mitigation throughout the process.
- Create new content and update existing materials to meet client needs and reflect the latest strategies.
- Provide comprehensive briefing and handover documentation for successful bids to ensure seamless transition to operational teams.
