Job Description
Relationship Manager – Invoice Finance
The relationship manager has ownership of a portfolio of clients, where they will be making decisions, through monitoring the client’s performance whilst providing them a personal service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of circa 50 clients with Invoice Finance facilities.
- The relationship manager role is responsible for posting the transactions on their client’s ledgers this includes cash receipts, schedules and payments.
- All transactions are to be processed accurately and adhere to the internal deadlines.
- The relationship manager must balance risk and service. They are to ensure the invoices are accurate and collectable while not being detrimental to the client and debtor relationship.
- The relationship manager is responsible in ensuring the debt purchased is recoverable. This includes ensuring the invoices and supporting documents are legitimate and the verification is completed as per company requirements.
- Client service and retention is key to our success, and this is achieved in the main by the Relationship Manager team as they are responsible for the delivery of client service, they are also the main daily contact for the clients. They will deal with client questions, queries and requests. To be a successful relationship manager it is key they understand their client’s business.
- Service is important but this also needs to be balanced with risk. We monitor risk in various ways, with various tools for their portfolio.
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience within Invoice Finance.
- Excellent attention to detail, both written and verbal.
