Our client is looking to employ a Head Pig Stockperson for their farm in North Yorkshire (YO51).
They have a 300-sow breeding-to-finishing indoor pig unit. The family have been in pigs for over 30 years and has invested in good modern buildings for the future.
They are looking for a senior stockperson who can manage themselves and continue the excellent performance of the unit.
Candidates will ideally have:
- Experience with pig husbandry across all aspects – Especially farrowing and dry sows
- Be able to work in a team
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic with great attention to detail
- High welfare standards
Plus: A three-bedroom house on the farm.
