Hours: 37 hours per week, 40 weeks per year (term time plus 2 weeks)

The School and Role
A welcoming primary school in Northamptonshire is seeking a professional and efficient Office Manager to join their team from September 2025 on a permanent basis. This is a key role in ensuring the smooth and effective running of the school office, including managing administration, reception, HR processes, and finance tasks. You will work closely with the senior leadership team, supporting staff and parents while maintaining a friendly, professional environment that reflects the school s high standards.

Requirements
Please note: Only applicants with relevant UK school or office management experience will be considered.

  • Previous office management experience, ideally within a school setting

  • Excellent administrative, organisational, and IT skills

  • Ability to manage confidential data with professionalism

  • Experience with HR processes and financial administration

  • Ability to prioritise workload and work efficiently under pressure

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for a new one
