In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining Quality Data and Systems in accordance with defined methods and procedures. You will carry out sampling and analytical testing of materials and environmental samples following established protocols. As an active member of the QA team, you will work towards achieving quality goals and objectives while ensuring compliance with company, third-party, and customer standards.
Main responsibilities:
- Conduct sampling and analysis of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished products to verify quality and functionality parameters.
- Coordinate sampling, including environmental swabs, and liaise with external laboratories to ensure timely and accurate testing results.
- Utilize analytical knowledge to support pass, fail, and concession decisions, maintaining departmental integrity.
- Assist in investigating non-conformances and customer complaints, and contribute to corrective action implementation to prevent recurrence.
- Adhere to policies and procedures (including GLP, GMP, H&S) to meet quality standards.
- Participate in laboratory coverage to ensure tasks are completed on time, including QA testing panels and providing Certificates of Analysis (C of A) to clients.
- Maintain accurate and timely records in information systems (QA data, inspection plans, methods, procedures, calibrations, SAP) to ensure departmental performance and compliance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workplace efficiency and growth.
- Perform sampling and analysis of materials and environmental swabs as per company procedures to produce accurate results.
Candidate profile:
- HND qualification or relevant experience in a manufacturing environment with high-quality standards and documented quality systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Office, and SAP.
- Scientific approach with keen attention to detail.
- Laboratory experience and knowledge of Good Laboratory Practice.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage staff across the organization.
- Knowledge of SAP or similar data management systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and proactively resolve problems.
- Capable of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
