About the Role:

We are currently seeking a Repairs Supervisor to join a busy reactive maintenance team working on social housing properties in the Brent area. This is a hands-on supervisory role involving a mix of office-based coordination, site inspections, and tenant liaison. You\’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of reactive repairs, managing operatives, and helping maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of operatives carrying out day-to-day reactive repairs
  • Carry out pre- and post-inspections to ensure works are completed to standard
  • Allocate and schedule works in coordination with the operations team
  • Handle tenant enquiries and complaints, providing prompt resolutions
  • Communicate with residents by phone and in person regarding ongoing issues
  • Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers as required
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and H&S compliance on jobs
  • Use internal systems to manage and update job progress

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Repairs or Maintenance Supervisor
  • Strong knowledge of reactive repairs and social housing environments
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Confident using phones and IT systems in a busy office setting
  • Ability to manage operatives and resolve on-site issues quickly
  • Full UK driving licence (van and fuel card provided)
