About the department
As part of the Security and Resilience Control Centre (SaRCC) at abrdn, we provide a coordinated technical security capability, oversee global operations and travellers, and handle customer concerns. Our dedicated team of Controller, Operator, and Specialist ensures the safety of the abrdn estate through the use of Coordinated Technical Security Systems.
About the role
As a Security Control Room Operator, you will support and direct Security Officer personnel, promote effectivemunication and collaboration, and maintain technical security and building management systems within the SaRCC. Your responsibilities include supporting the training and development of staff, reporting inappropriate conduct, and ensuring adherence to operational processes and procedures. You will play a key role in incident management, prioritising alarms and phone calls, and ensuring a swift and effective response to maintain building security and staff safety.
