We are seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking Games Design Teacher to join a dynamic and inclusive education setting this September. You\’ll be working with young adults who are eager to develop technical skills in a practical and career-focused learning environment.

Essential Qualifications:
- Maths and English GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent (Level 2)
- Degree or relevant qualification in a related creative or digital subject area
Essential Qualities:
- Highly organised and able to manage your workload independently and flexibly
- Motivated, driven, and committed to high standards of achievement
- Excellent classroom management and confident delivery in a practical learning environment
- Strong understanding of the Ofsted framework and data-driven planning
- Excellent communication and feedback skills
- Compassionate and empathetic, with an awareness of the challenges facing learners from disadvantaged backgrounds
- Collaborative, ambitious, and solutions-focused
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro)
- Experience with 3D software: Autodesk Maya, Blender (modelling, skinning, rigging)
- Familiarity with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine
- Visual scripting or programming knowledge
- Drawing, concept art and digital illustration skills
- Professional or freelance background in a creative industry is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging, industry-relevant lessons that support learner progression
- Deliver creative projects that align with learner interests and industry trends
- Monitor progress through Arbor MIS, Google Sheets tracking, and one-to-one tutorials
- Encourage collaboration through cross-departmental projects and enrichment activities
- Support safeguarding and wellbeing through the use of CPOMS and pastoral support
- Prepare learners for successful completion of end-of-year assessed projects
- Facilitate guest speaker sessions, trips, and enrichment events throughout the year
- Use a variety of assessment methods and provide timely, inspiring feedback
- Participate in ongoing CPD and stay current with industry and awarding body standards
