Job Description:
The Technical Services Representative is responsible for providing technical support to Packaging Customers for the Beverage business in the assigned geographical region.
Responsibilities include:
- Travel to customer operations to solve problems, coordinate project work, or implement technology.
- Manage product trials at designated customer facilities.
- Troubleshoot online technical problems.
- Advise customers on product line changes and improvements.
- Maintain records of customer technical service issues for follow-up.
- Train customers on product knowledge and application methods.
- Handle customer complaints within authority limits and manage resolution processes.
- Assist with equipment installations and modifications.
- Maintain contact with laboratories on current technical issues.
- Support laboratory evaluations of samples.
- Provide technical information to technicians, chemists, engineers, customers, and other groups.
- Communicate extended product knowledge in packaging technology.
- Support the specification/product recommendation approval process.
- Maintain expertise in product finishes, equipment use, and surface preparation.
- Collaborate with Projects and Market Managers to develop and implement solutions for projects and product deployment.
Requirements include:
- 3-5 years of field-based experience.
- Skills in solving technical problems in both field and lab/service center settings.
- Fluent in English with good communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and customer orientation.
- Team player attitude.
- Knowledge of packaging application techniques.
