Job Description:

The Domestic Abuse Partnership (DAP) is seeking to recruit a Domestic Abuse Assessment and Support Practitioner to join the team.

The successful candidate will have a keen interest in domestic abuse and supporting survivors in a trauma-informed, client-centred manner. They will serve as the first point of contact for survivors self-referring or referred by other agencies, gathering initial information to triage the level of support required.

Applicants must have previous experience working directly with women affected by domestic abuse or safeguarding adults or children. An understanding of the complexities of domestic abuse and the ability to work empoweringly with survivors are essential. Effective communication and organizational skills, enthusiasm, and teamwork abilities are also required.

Ongoing learning and development opportunities will be provided.
