Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

The following is essential criteria:

– Degree in Social Work

– SWE Registration

– Right to work within the UK

We require a qualified Social Worker to join us in the LD Review Team for an initial 3 month period to back fill a post, We are doing lots of project work, looking at: least restrictive practice, My Life My Way and our internal disability supported accommodation services (DSAS), ensuring citizens are supported through the correct funding streams, embedding a Strengths Based Approach and reviewing the most high cost care packages across the city, always ensuring best value and considering savings are key elements to the work we do within the LD Review Team. We are a city wide team and may have some citizens in the Greater Manchester area.

We need an experience Social Worker to join the team and be able to complete reviews, Strength Based Assessments, Support Plans, MCA and BI decisions. Experience of working in learning disability services is preferable.

Office based mainly but there is agreement for some working from home (2x per week if agreed)

Please be aware this is a Long Term Temporary post to start ASAP.

You must have:

A professional qualification in social work

Social Work England registration.

Enhanced DBS/Update service.

References required for the last 5 years of employment.
