We have an exciting role on offer within our Prevention and Partnerships as a Level 3 Business Administrator Apprentice at TCES.
About Us
Level 3 Business Administrator Apprentice at TCES We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated person with excellent interpersonal and IT skills and with an interest in gaining experience of working in a frontline admin office.
Please state in your application form any work experience that you have to demonstrate that you can meet the following requirements:
That you would be able to gain confidence in working in a call centre environment by being able to use a computer system whilst handling a telephone call.
That you have the ability to interact with customers and service users face to face and on the telephone with a pleasant manner.
Good ICT and keyboard skills.
Include all your relevant experience and maths and English qualifications. Also, any ICT qualifications (these are not essential).
Tees Community Equipment Service is a service that operates throughout the Teesside area and supplies equipment that can assist disabled people to live independently within their own homes and you must share our passion to ensuring we continue to deliver a high quality of service to our Service Users. You will be working in a small but at times, very busy call centre and will be required to develop a wide range of administrative knowledge, skills and behaviours including call handling and data entry at the same time.
The main duties include taking incoming calls, making outgoing calls and assisting Service Users, their families, Health and Social Care Professionals and your colleagues to ensure the prompt delivery of medical equipment into client’s homes.
Having good IT skills is essential and you will receive detailed training on how to use our bespoke IT system to arrange the deliveries and collections.
Due to the nature of the work a high level of confidentiality is required.
Please note, this is fixed term until 31.08.2026.
The post holder will be expected to be flexible and accommodating. The service operates between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday and you will work from our offices at Unit 3 Raleigh Court Riverside Park Middlesbrough TS2 1RR.
