The Tyre Fitter will assist members in selecting the correct tyres and work as part of a team to install tyres on vehicles according to company policy.
Responsibilities
- Locate member vehicles in the tyre shop parking area, document any body damage, and prepare the vehicle for tyre fitting.
- Remove wheels, follow safety procedures, and mount new tyres with proper inflation.
- Operate balancing machines and attach weights to rims to ensure proper wheel balance.
- Reattach wheels to vehicles, perform torque checks, and ensure safety standards are met.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and assist with sales and stock management.
- Support other departments as needed.
Requirements
- GCSE standard or equivalent preferred.
- Full, clean Driving Licence.
- Willingness to undertake Michelin training.
