Warehouse Operative
Job Type: Permanent
Salary: Up to £25,000 per year dependent on experience.
I am recruiting for a Warehouse Operative for a fantastic employer to join them on a permanent basis. They are willing to train someone with limited experience so you could be an experienced warehouse person or someone entering the workplace. It is all about the right attitude.
The Warehouse Operative will ensure the efficient running of all warehouse functions.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Receiving and booking in all deliveries into the warehouse.
- Preparing goods to be sent to the factory and checking paperwork and quantities are correct.
- Movement of goods to and from the factory.
- Dispatching of all orders to the customer with efficient checking and dispatch of labels and delivery notes.
- Dealing with all courier related queries and managing the courier database and stock in the warehouse.
- Regular stock takes where needed.
- Using transfer machinery and software to produce transfer and dispatch.
- Ensuring the warehouse is kept tidy and adheres to Health and Safety conditions at all times.
- Managing the stock on shelves.
- Assisting in the returns of goods to suppliers.
- Assisting in quality checks prior to dispatch.
