We\’re searching for a sessional skills tutor to join our team and empower adult learners (19+) to conquer maths and transform their lives. We\’re looking for someone who can truly engage and inspire, using their personal experience and insights to deliver a holistic maths curriculum.
You\’ll guide individuals through accredited functional skills and non-accredited courses, building their essential maths skills and confidence for everyday life and the workplace. Your ability to make learning rich and relevant through your dynamic teaching style and real-world insights is key. Join us and help unlock potential!
St Helens Adult and Community Learning team (part of St Helens Borough Council) offers a range of free learning opportunities to eligible residents aged 19+. We deliver life-changing learning through a range of non-accredited and qualification based courses including health and wellbeing, functional skills, ESOL and childcare & education. Smaller class sizes mean learners develop confidence in an inclusive environment where they feel valued and respected.
Our dedicated team are passionate about providing high quality learning experiences to help our learners reach their full potential. Ofsted rated us as \’good\’ in 2023 and we are proud that over 99% of our learners consistently rate our courses good/excellent.
