Summary

We are recruiting HGV Drivers to join our team based at our Sandtoft Operation Centre, DN8 5SX. Our HGV Drivers load, collect, and deliver accident damaged vehicles, which often requires physical effort. This full time, Monday to Friday role offers a great work life balance with no bank holiday work. Copart is a global leader in online vehicle remarketing and recycling, partnering with insurance companies, banks, and automotive businesses. Drivers must comply with legal and company standards, performing vehicle inspections and reporting any issues. No transporter experience? No problem we will provide 3 weeks of one on one training and ongoing CPC training. If you have a Cat C licence, you can upskill to C+E after completing your probation. After training a reasonable salary expectation based on an average on 7 vehicle collections per day, would be approx. £45,276 per annum.

What we need from you

• HGV Licence Class 1 and Class 2
• Current CPC
• A good understanding of the EC Drivers Hours and Working Time regulations
• Driving experience in both rural and urban environments
• Great written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Confident in the use of handheld devices with experience in basic IT applications
• Adaptable with the ability to organise and adjust your working day
• Car transportation or recovery experience would be an advantage but is not essential
