A new opportunity has arisen with FM Conway for a Mixing Operative to join our Aggregates and Asphalt division. The role will be based in Heathrow, working a 4 on 4 off shift which covers days and nights.
Responsibilities of our Mixing Operative
As our Mixing Operative, you will be responsible for operating the plant to manufacture a range of asphalt products. The role is very computer-based and will also involve:
- Ensuring all required maintenance duties are carried out
- Liaising with the Service Coordinator to ensure all customer needs are met
- Ensuring that all vehicles leaving the site are of the correct weight and have the appropriate documents
- Reporting plant and other defects and maintaining production records
- Assisting with weighbridge duties as and when required
What we are looking for in our Mixing Operative
To be considered for this role, you must have experience working with computer systems. You will be a strong communicator with a professional telephone manner. A full UK driving license is required for this role. Experience with weighbridge systems would be a plus but is not essential.
