Your Role

EF Cambridge Clare College Summer School is seeking dedicated and outgoing teachers to join our team for summer 2026.

Position Details:

– Full-time

– 6 days a week

– Fixed-term contract between June – August 2025 (minimum two-week commitment)

– Accommodation and full board available if necessary

Responsibilities

– Inspire international students to improve their English in fun, communicative lessons

– Plan, prepare and deliver effective lessons to diverse groups of learners

– Track student attendance, assess progress, and provide regular feedback

– Facilitate testing and maintain academic records

– Lead academic excursions to sites around the UK

– Participate in teacher briefings, staff meetings, and professional development sessions

– Contribute to a positive and collaborative academic team environment

– Act as an ambassador for EF

Requirements

– Available between June-August 2026

– TEFL or CELTA (or equivalent) qualified

– Excellent communication skills

– Sensitive to the needs of international students

– Confident in teaching young learners (13-17)

– Demonstrates a high level of customer service

– Has strong administrative and organisational skills

– All offers are subject to a clear enhanced DBS check and two references

– Right to work in the UK at commencement of employment

– C2 level of English
