Senior Project Manager Mechanical Electrical Projects (MEP) Commercial Building Services North United Kingdom 70,000 + 5,000 Car Allowance + Package.

Due to growth of a new client contract, we are actively recruiting for a Senior Project Manager to over-see a wide variety of building services projects ranging from 50K – 3.5M values within commercial environments across the North of England.

As the Senior Project Manager, you will have 2-3 direct line reports at Project Management & Site Management level, this role will be working on a hybrid basis, based from Salford, Greater Manchester as the reporting office.

Duties:

As the Senior Project Manager, your duties and responsibilities may include;

  • Over-seeing multiple projects at any one time between values of 50K – 3.5M in values, projects could include upgrades, replacements, installations, emergency repairs, conversions etc.
  • Managing direct line reports, including 2-3 Project / Site Managers.
  • Managing sub-contractors, ensuring quality workmanship and agreed timelines are adhered to.
  • Working closely with costing teams, quantity surveyors etc.
  • Liaising with internal senior management and client contacts.
  • Working on a hybrid basis from home, occasional visits to company offices + visits to sites/projects as and when needed.

Requirements:

  • Must have experience working as a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager
  • Must be qualified in an Electrical or Mechanical trade discipline.
  • Must have experience managing projects within commercial environments.
  • Must be comfortable managing multiple small projects or singular larger projects at any one time.
  • Experience managing direct reports is required.
  • Must have a UK driving license.
