The Royal Parks (TRP) is a charity created in March 2017. We manage over 5,000 acres of diverse parkland, rare habitats and historic buildings and monuments in eight Royal Parks across London. These are Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, The Green Park, St James’s Park, The Regent\’s Park and Primrose Hill, Greenwich Park, Richmond Park and Bushy Park.
We also manage other important public spaces including Brompton Cemetery and Victoria Tower Gardens. Our eight Royal Parks and other iconic green spaces are among the most visited attractions in the UK with tens of millions of visits every year.
We are now looking for an External Site Cleaner to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 40 hours per week, following a shift rota, including some weekends and bank holidays.

The Role
As an External Site Cleaner, you will maintain the cleanliness and appearance of Richmond Park.
Carrying out various cleaning tasks across the park’s grounds, you will:
- Sweep and litter-pick
- Empty bins
- Pressure wash surfaces
- Clean external windows and signage
- Sanitise waste areas
- Operate cleaning machinery
- Identify and report issues such as fly-tipping, graffiti, or damage
About You
To be considered as an External Site Cleaner, you will need:
- Experience applying health and safety procedures
- Knowledge of how to clean bins
- A full, valid driving licence
Please note, this role includes working outdoors in most weather conditions as well as lifting rubbish bags and materials.
