DevOps Manager – Hedge Fund – London
We are recruiting DevOps Manager for a major hedge fund. This is a \’leadership\’ role but ideally looking for someone who is deeply technical and can operate as an \’individual contributor\’ as and when needed.
The Role:
- Act as technical lead across various teams: DevOps, Cloud, Platform
- Design and maintain hybrid infrastructure (Azure Cloud)
- Manage network architecture, storage, compute
- Provisioning and automation of DevOps practice
- Disaster recovery / BCP
- Capacity planning
- Vendor Management
Skills:
- Min 5 – 10 years in cloud operations, DevOps or Infrastructure (ideally with exposure to all)
- Bachelor\’s degree (min) in Computer Science or Information Technology
- Experience in running large (20+ person) multi-disciplinary global teams
- Expert in Microsoft Azure services (Azure DevOps etc)
- A background in a trading business (investment bank, hedge fund, commodity trader)
- Experience of: Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Github
